Job Description:
- Tutor must be able to tutor English from grades 1 to grade 9 with a strong emphasis on Writing and Reading Comprehension.
- Must be able to tutor the following subject areas: Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Writing, Spelling and a large focus on Writing/Structure.
- Sessions are held in the late afternoon, evenings and/or weekends.
- Tutors work with the same students on a daily/weekly basis.
- Tutors are not required to prepare lesson plans, and the teaching curriculum is provided.
- This is a permanent part-time position.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a degree in the related field or currently studying in them.
- Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English.
- A minimum of 1-year tutoring experience is preferred.
- Candidates must be available Monday to Friday from 3:30pm. to 8:30pm. and Saturday from 10:00am. To 4:00pm. (Minimum of 3 days per week.
- Candidates must be able to start immediately.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour
