The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, as well as experience in project management, supporting business and operations functions, investigations, and with Government agencies. Communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills are key to successfully managing our clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt quickly to changing requirements and have the ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
What you will do
- Collaborate with multiple departments and cross functional teams including Global Security, Operations, Legal, Government Sales vertical and Marketing
- Proactively identify and address security gaps in various functions, and provide adequate support and guidance to stakeholders
- Support Government Program including Protected B status and maintenance, contract review and negotiations
- Assess and validate security controls, and provide guidance on various security projects
- Support security investigations and Physical Security processes and projects
- Review contracts and Request for Proposals, and maintain Playbook
- Provide support for third party management escalations, issues and deviations
- Drive Security Awareness and Training activities and initiatives
What experience you need
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent work experience
- Experience engaging with Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC)
- 7+ years’ experience working in information security
- A solid understanding of security best practices and international standards such as ISO27000, NIST, and PCI DSS and other security frameworks
- Project management experience
- Ability to convey complex information to a variety of audiences
- Pays attention to team needs and pivots approach accordingly to support the delivery of business value
- Proactive, detail oriented and able to work independently and efficiently
What could set you apart
- French language fluency
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Controls (CRISC) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or industry certifications
- Familiarity with project management, Google Suite and related technologies
- Knowledge and experience of Information Security Risk and Security governance and understanding of risks in the banking/ financial services sector
