About the role
Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for a Business Development Coordinator to support our Vancouver Branch located in Surrey, BC (Office Location – 19175 – 22nd Avenue, Surrey BC V3Z 3S6), reporting to the Business Development Manager.
A Day in the Life
- Support proposal development
- Assist with RFP/RFI/RFT responses, package preparation, and formatting sales material.
- Coordinate PIL updates and lead tracking
- Ensure data integrity in Dynamics and portal systems to drive accurate pipeline reporting.
- Liaise with business development and estimating teams
- Provide administrative and logistical support, improving response time and internal coordination.
- Manage regional event logistics
- Track, register, and coordinate customer and industry events including trade shows and lunch & learns.
- Assist with forecasting and reporting
- Prepare bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports using data from BI and PIL systems.
- Maintain client compliance and documentation
- Support COI, WCB, COR certification, and bonding documentation as required.
- Manage a centralized email account for tender invites.
- Other duties as needed

- 2 years of previous administration experience is an asset
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, pleasant and professional phone manner
- Excellent computer skills in the Microsoft office package; Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in a fast paced, team environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities
