  • Concept first creative thinking with a strong grasp of campaign strategy and storytelling
  • Fluency in AI tools and workflows for idea generation, drafting, and scaling creative output
  • Strong copywriting skills across digital, print, OOH, and emerging ad formats
  • Understanding of ad performance metrics and how to optimize messaging for engagement and conversion
  • Ability to work at speed and iterate quickly in non linear, collaborative environments
  • High creative standards with a proven ability to craft bold, memorable messaging
  • Self directed research skills; can dig into customer insights, product features, and competitive context independently
  • Excellent attention to detail; grammar, tone, and clarity are always on point
  • Comfort with ambiguity and evolving direction; able to move forward without waiting for a perfect brief
  • Ability to systematize voice and tone across platforms, teams, and tools
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; comfortable co creating in real time
  • Tech savvy mindset with a natural curiosity for learning new platforms, tools, and creative technologies
  • 3+ years in advertising or creative copywriting roles
  • Strong portfolio of digital, print, and campaign-based work
  • Comfort collaborating and co-creating in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to adapt voice and tone depending on audience and context
  • Exceptional grammar, spelling, and attention to detail
  • Experience testing, optimizing, and iterating creative (e.g., A/B testing)
  • Familiarity with AI platforms for ideation, drafting, or optimization is a major plus

What the job involves

  • This is a full-time maternity leave contract position expected to last 12 months, with the possibility of extension
  • Ting is on the hunt for a creative copywriter who knows how to cut through the noise and craft work people actually remember
  • This isn’t just about clever words. We’re looking for someone who treats AI as a creative partner. You use it to brainstorm, test, iterate, and scale your ideas. You’ve got a voice, but you also know how to systematize it. You build tools and processes that help you deliver standout creative faster without losing originality
  • Develop breakthrough ad copy across key formats:
  • Out-of-home (billboards, posters, transit ads)
  • Digital display and paid social
  • Print campaigns and direct mail
  • Microsites and landing pages
  • Create supporting copy for:
  • Social, blog, and email content tied to campaigns
  • Customer storytelling and lifecycle messaging
  • Collaborate closely with designers, campaign leads, and product marketers to align tone and messaging across all deliverables
  • Leverage AI tools to:
  • Rapidly test and evolve creative approaches
  • Scale messaging across formats
  • Build systems to standardize and elevate creative output
  • Operate in real time: co-create, workshop, and refine without waiting for perfect inputs
  • Use performance data to optimize and sharpen messaging
