About the role
The job requirements of the position include:

Horticultural and grounds maintenance.

Custodial work at municipal facilities
-
Carry out renovations in municipal facilities, including painting, installing lights, and plumbing fixtures as required.

Operating ice resurfacer, lawn mowers, tractors, and other small machinery.

Arena building supervision and ensuring the facility is kept clean and tidy.
-
Maintaining various parks, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, soccer fields, and the marina.
-
Winter sidewalk snow removal at various locations.
-
Ensure safe operation of all equipment and adhere to OHSA and municipal health and safety policies and procedures.
-
Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Parks and the Supervisor of Facilities.
