About the role

Tasks

  • Prepare, season, and portion food according to recipes and patient needs.
  • Adjust the quantity of meals prepared based on the number of patients and service requirements.
  • Ensure optimal use of food supplies to minimize waste.
  • Keep the food inventory up to date and report restocking needs.
  • Always follow hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Work closely with the team to adapt meals to specific dietary requirements.
  • Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Institutional Cooking, Pastry Making, or Butchery (required).
  • Availability to work every other weekend.
  • Experience in institutional or large-scale food service is considered an asset.
