About the role
Position Summary JOB DESCRIPTION Under the general direction of Director, Regional Marketing, this role will assist the Marketing Team with the overall management of marketing and loyalty offers. The Marketing Coordinator will also assist with the implementation of corporate Marketing initiatives whilst adhering to all related internal policies and procedures.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepares and maintains multiple customer mailing lists based on predetermined criteria; coordinates mailers in the offers system, assigns targeted players to the appropriate offer(s); creates bar codes, valid dates, offer descriptions, etc. Supports tracking & reporting of quantitative results for marketing campaigns to determine marketing effectiveness and overall patron event engagement(e.g. revenue generation, redemption percentage)
- Supports and assists GCE sites with the project management of Marketing/Promotional initiatives as needed
- Coordinates and supports the implementation of initiatives to ensure the management of effective marketing databases & the up to date and accurate data is shared
- Resolves customer account issues related to marketing programs such as DM eligibility, tier scores, duplicate accounts or mail code discrepancies; may liaise with casino staff, customers or BCLC directly
- Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders. Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments.
Education And Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business Administration, or suitable communication of education and experience required.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience preferred, ideally in gaming, hospitality or entertainment.
- Experience in marketing, public relations or communications and special events experience is an asset.
- Driver’s License required, and access to a vehicle is an asset.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite, Excel and Wordpress.
- Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication.
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.
- Dependable and reliable with a demonstrated commitment to excellence.
- Adherence to high standards, methods, and procedures
