About the role
The Warehouse Inbound Supervisor assumes leadership of a large team, coordinates and schedules daily operations, plans staffing and resources requirements for inbound activities. He/she ensures that health and safety policies are implemented and maintained, and that high standards are achieved.
Starting salary: $55.000
Responsibilities

Contribute to maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by providing high quality standards of daily operational service in the reception department;

Establish and achieve operational objectives on a daily, weekly and monthly basis;

Constantly adjust the work to be carried out according to priorities, last-minute requests or unforeseen situations;
-
Proactively improve operational processes to achieve higher levels of efficiency, and evaluate their performance;
-
Maintain high health and safety standards;
-
Act as an ambassador of high standards, enforcement of policies and promotion of company values to employees;

Ensure inventory accuracy;
- Eliminate discrepancies;
- Work with buyers to finalize receipts;
- Create and track tickets for receiving discrepancies;

Call carriers to confirm appointment times and arrange pick-up of empty trailers;

Update and maintain receiving schedule daily;
-
Verify stowage process to ensure inventory accuracy and team competency;

Supervise unloading process to ensure standard processes are followed;

All other related tasks.
Success factors
- Business acumen: your experience of at least 5 years in a distribution center, including supervision, will enable you to successfully lead your team and manage day-to-day operations with confidence ;
- Computer skills: your mastery of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook and Excel, will enable you to build good models to better track and give a better overview of your operations ;
- Interest in health: staying healthy is part of your values, and you're happy to help your team and support them in their physical tasks, if necessary;
