Business Analyst (Contract Position)
Number of Positions: 1 Duration: 6 months
Location: Vancouver, BC, CA
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Hybrid position, 4d/w onsite in Vancouver, no exceptions, may change to fully onsite later on
Roles and responsibilities:
This dynamic Business Analyst to identify and prioritize business and technical requirements from stakeholders, identify and evaluate business processes, and more. The Senior-level Business Analyst is expected to have 5+ years of experience. The analyst will closely partner with Sustainability and Climate business teams and support the ESG Reporting and Analytics Technology team
Identify, gather, and prioritize business, functional, and technical requirements from stakeholders
Identify and evaluate business processes, workflows, and roadmaps
Create and maintain data-driven reports to support business decision-making
Lead cross-functional collaboration and communications with business stakeholders
Create and maintain relevant documentation and conduct knowledge transfer activities
Must have skills/experience/qualifications
3-5+ years of advanced data analysis skills are mandatory in Excel and Power BI
2+ years of experience working with Snowflake database
3+ years of experience as a SQL developer in data and analytics space
Excellent spoken and written communication skills (verbal and non-verbal).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (advanced data modelling skills required).
Ability to create detailed, high quality, design deliverables.
Must have: Working experience in dealing with big data and large-scale enterprise systems.
Desired: Retail and ESG /Sustainability experience is a plus. (Fashion retail experience would be ideal).
Desired: Working experience with cloud platforms namely Azure.
