About the Role
Nuovo Photography is looking for an enthusiastic and highly detail-oriented Social Media Advertising Coordinator to join our growing marketing team. This is an entry-level position perfect for a recent graduate or someone starting their career in digital marketing. You will be essential to the daily execution and management of our paid social media campaigns, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive and creative environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, enjoys working with data, and is eager to build a strong foundation in paid social media advertising. You will work closely with our Media Buyer and the rest of the marketing team to help execute effective campaigns on platforms like Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Your work will directly contribute to Nuovo's mission of empowering clients through artistic self-expression and body positivity.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Campaign & Ad Setup: You'll be at the heart of our campaigns, responsible for setting up new campaigns, ad sets, and individual ads within Meta Ads Manager. This includes accurately inputting headlines, descriptions, and selecting the right creative assets as guided by the team.
- Targeting: Learn and implement targeting methods to help us reach specific audiences based on demographics, interests, and behaviors.
- Asset Management: Organize and maintain our library of ad creatives and copy, ensuring everything is categorized and easy to find. Strong organization and consistent naming of files will be key.
- Quality Assurance: Act as our quality control specialist. You will be responsible for double-checking all campaign details before they go live to ensure they are error-free. With thousands of ad variations, your keen eye for detail is crucial.
- Performance Monitoring: Keep an eye on live campaigns, helping the team spot and flag any immediate issues like disapproved ads or unusual performance metrics.
- Collaboration & Learning: Assist the team in setting up A/B tests to improve our ads and landing pages. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with our creative and social teams and learn more about marketing automation and analytics.
Requirements
### What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- A Keen Eye for Detail: You must have an exceptional level of attention to detail. You find satisfaction in ensuring every detail is correct and can spot small errors or differences that others might miss.
- Understanding of Marketing Fundamentals: You don’t need to be an expert, but you should have a basic grasp of digital marketing principles. We encourage you to be familiar with the concepts covered in the free Meta Blueprint study guides for:
- 100-101: Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associate
- Meta Certified Media Planning or Media Buying Professional
- Familiarity with Key Metrics: You should understand what core marketing KPIs like CPL (Cost Per Lead) and CTR (Click-Through Rate) mean.
- Strong Organizational Skills: You can handle managing a large volume of digital files and information in a structured and efficient way.
- Eagerness to Learn: You are curious, proactive, and excited to build your skills in a hands-on environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Haves (Bonus Skills)
- Analytics Skills: Any experience with reporting or data analysis tools like Power BI, Google Analytics, or even Python would be a great asset.
- Familiarity with Other Platforms: Experience with or knowledge of TikTok Ads Manager, Google Ads, or other social media advertising platforms is a plus.
- Language Skills: A working knowledge of French is considered a valuable asset.
- A degree or diploma in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field is helpful but not required if you can demonstrate your interest and skills.
