  • This position leads the planning of a category with 900 SKUS and a team of 40+ Supply and Demand teams.
  • This a senior level strategic role in which the incumbent will partner with VPs across Finance, Supply Chain, Sales Planning, Logistics, and Category teams as an IBP Lead and owner for the respective categories.

How You Will Contribute You will:

  • Manage a forecasting team responsible for the development of an unbiased and unconstrained forecast over a 24-month period with properly documented assumptions
  • Partner with category finance to support appropriate linkage between the monthly integrated business planning (IBP) forecast and financial forecasts (key assumptions, risks, opportunities)
  • Partner with commercial leadership to quantify and validate risks and opportunities and support the development of plans to close gaps between the forecast and target
  • Partner with innovation and equity to validate the sizing of innovations, renovations and campaigns as they enter the 24-month forecast
  • Partner with supply planning to ensure there is confidence in the demand plan and that key forecast decisions are made by the appropriate stakeholders and with the appropriate amount of lead time to ensure the successful execution and delivery of the plan
  • Leadership of the Control tower process to drive synchronization across Sales/ Marketing/ Finance & Supply chain organizations and ensure short term business delivery
  • Strategic leadership of overall capacity sufficiency & Integrated Business Planning from a supply sufficiency perspective. Ownership of inventories across North America
  • Manage a supply planning team responsible for the category/business unit supply planning review process of the integrated business planning process
  • Design roadmap to achieve CFR across relevant category within the US Business.
  • Define DIOH targets per category/brand, quantify volume reduction, establish inventory management governance, define inventory reduction phasing.
  • Identify capacity constraints and lead communication with critical stakeholders to keep them informed and drive actions
  • Developing next generation talent, driving employee morale & engagement within the organization

What You Will Bring A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:

  • 10- 15 years of planning/ business process/ industrial experience.
  • Team Leader experience 7+ years and Project management / agile method experience is desirable.
  • Ability to provide strategic technical leadership and lead by influence in the creation of supply chain planning environment and broader enterprise system environment
  • Ability to communicate and influence multi-disciplinary teams developing strong partnerships across functions to drive the design, build, and deployment of state of the art rapid and responsive planning systems environment.
  • Leadership experience in all aspects of planning, deployment and knowledgeable of the uses of automation/ ML/ AI to achieve touchless planning solution with integration to enterprise environments such as SAP S4 and other critical digital core surround systems.
  • Functional knowledge of manufacturing and distribution operations – including but not limited to the following functions: planning/forecasting, supply management, procurement, sales and operations planning, new product introduction, transition management, production scheduling, quality control, inventory management, supply chain, warehouse and distribution.
  • Track record of project delivery success that should include: System Implementation / Integration, cost savings, process improvement.
  • Expert knowledge of Demand, Inventory, Scenario and Supply Network Planning tools and ERP with broad expertise in various disciplines (system development, infrastructure) and new technologies.
  • Experience in supplier management, Project Management, Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrated organizational and leadership skills, examples of effective teamwork, a track record of consistently meeting deadlines and due dates.
  • Excellent judgment, interpersonal skills, cultural awareness and professional maturity with executive presentation experience, comfortable interacting with senior executive leadership, lead, facilitate and manage change effectively.
  • Six-Sigma, Continuous Improvement, is preferred along with a proven track record of cost savings and continuous improvement accomplishments.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (required). Preferred fields include Supply Chain Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Management or related discipline.

Travel requirements:

  • Limited travel to Manufacturing Facilities and DCs within Ontario.

Work schedule:

  • Regular working hours, hybrid, Monday to Friday.
