We’d love to hear from people with:

Ability to work flexible hours based on program needs, including evenings and weekends, this is a front-line position requiring participation in the Child & Youth programs

Staff supervision, performance management and mentorship experience and an ability to manage conflict resolution

Experience in Child & Youth program development, implementation and evaluation
-
Ability to use Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel comfortably
-
Experience creating staff schedules and ability to complete bi-weekly payroll and oversee departmental budget
-
Experience with recruitment, interviewing and onboarding staff

- Provide 3 references of a professional nature (Ex. employer, supervisor, colleague, teacher, coach, etc.)
- Provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check Check/Vulnerable Sector Search issued no later than six (6) months preceding your start date. The YMCA will provide applicable instructions and paperwork.

We are a local charity that ignites the potential in people, helping them grow, lead, and give back to their communities.
Our YMCA serves over 40,000 individuals each year through 3 health and fitness facilities, 12 child care centres, youth employment services, mindfulless programs, and many community initiatives.
Thanks to our generous donors, we are able to offer vital programs and financial assistance to those less fortunate, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate. We address critical issues facing our community, including poverty, isolation and inactivity.
