Edon Management is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead key accounting functions while supporting innovation, operational excellence, and financial transparency across our portfolio of real estate assets.

Our Team services over 26 million sq. ft. of real estate in over 80 municipalities across the province. Your Impact: Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Reporting
- Prepare and review financial statements for a diverse real estate portfolio
- Supervision to account receivables, account payables and payroll
- Ensure accurate tracking of income and expenses, and manage banking and reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of quarter-end and year-end statements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
Technology & Process Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk
- Lead or support adoption of new accounting technologies and reporting tools
- Design and maintain financial dashboards and analytics to inform key business decisions
Team & Collaboration
- Act as a mentor and support for other accounting staff
- Coordinate with business divisions to provide financial guidance and assist with preparing relevant financial and non-financial reports
- Liaise and support accounting team regarding all aspects of the accounting function, including training of new employees
- Support in the resolution of client service issues and contract issues to ensure high level of client service
What You Bring to the Table
- Post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution
- CPA designation
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in real estate or property management
- Previous experience or ability to develop working knowledge of internal accounting software (MRI experience an asset)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with internal and external resources
- Excellent time management and organization skills to simultaneously handle and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, articulate ideas, and react appropriately under pressure
