About the role
Wildstone is looking for a detail-driven Accounting Assistant, who’s ready to dive into everything from invoice processing to financial reconciliations, to join the Accounting team in our Penticton office.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys balancing routine tasks with the occasional challenge—and isn’t afraid of a spreadsheet or two. If you're looking to grow your accounting career somewhere fast-paced and full of opportunity, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You'll be part of a dynamic accounting team that keeps the financial engine running behind the scenes. Your day might include:
-
Processing invoices and preparing payments
-
Helping transition AP vendors from cheque to electronic payments
-
Managing our credit card platform and reconciling credit card statements
-
Assisting with month-end procedures and bank/account reconciliations
-
Monitoring the AP inbox and responding to inquiries with professionalism and clarity
You'll also have the opportunity to cross-train with other team members—so when things get busy (or people take well-earned vacations), you can step in and help keep things on track.
The salary for this role ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 per year depending on level of experience.
At Wildstone, we take care of our teams with benefits that include health/dental/vision, RRSP matching, Employee and Family Assistance Programs, an Employee Recognition and Rewards Program, an Annual Bonus and Unlimited Paid Time off after 3 years.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re not just looking for technical skills—we want someone who takes initiative, pays attention to the details, and genuinely enjoys being part of a team. Here’s what would make someone a great fit:
-
Previous accounting experience or related education
-
Solid Excel skills and a desire to keep learning
-
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
-
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and handle shifting priorities
-
Comfortable in a fast-paced, high volume, highly variable environment
-
Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
We’d love it if you’ve worked with Sage 300 CRE or are considering pursuing your CPA designation—but neither is required.
If you’re looking for a role that gives you room to grow, offers variety in your day, and surrounds you with people who care about doing great work, we’d love to hear from you.
