NSSL is a family-owned business which provides Short-Haul and Shunting services. Over 20 years of experience providing innovative yard management services (operations and technology), NSSL executes a TOTAL YARD MANAGEMENT PROGRAM for any type of warehouse, manufacturer, or cross-dock operation in North America. We manage more than 400,000 shipment movements per month for some of the leading name brand manufacturers and major retailers in North America.
NSSL is looking for a Part-time Class 1 Shunt driver in BC.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road;
- Carry out routine vehicle checks.
- Transporting loads safely and efficiently
- Abide with company rules, regulations, and policies.
- Ensuring vehicle is maintained clean.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 license
- At least 6 months of experience in shunting.
- Efficient trailer back up and parking skills
- Clean Abstract, and criminal record
- Able to conduct work in a safe manner.

Shift : Sunday and Monday
Shift hours : 8 hours 2pm to 10pm
