About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our Pathwise engineering team in Canada.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from any of our offices in Canada.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.

What The Day Will Look Like
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for the PathWise software system.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on new features and bug fixes for quarterly PathWise releases.
- Benchmark and validate client models on updated PathWise software versions.
- Design and implement automation scripts using open-source tools (e.g., Python).
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Perform detailed regression testing on resolved issues and new features.
- Establish and refine testing processes for both new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Support additional tasks as required.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
- 5 + years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong grasp of QA methodologies, tools, and standard processes.
- Hands-on experience with both open system and unknown testing.
- Proven track record to use automated testing tools efficiently.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python is an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Strong communication skills and a cross-functional approach.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
