Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and personable Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and proven administrative experience. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our front desk and supporting day-to-day business functions.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Define duties, organize workload, and develop routines to ensure adequate coverage for daily reception activities.
  • Manage incoming phone calls by answering, screening, and forwarding them as needed.
  • Control access through the reception desk, ensuring security and professionalism.
  • Distribute incoming packages and mail as required.
  • Occasionally drive to the post office for package delivery.
  • Perform all standard receptionist duties as required.
  • Receive, fulfill, pack, and ship cannabis products according to management’s requirements.
  • Place and coordinate orders and invoices to suppliers, verifying the end-to-end process.
  • Ensure that products being received, fulfilled, packed, and shipped are free of damage and accurately processed.
  • Organize and maintain the integrity of inventory.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Office Suite) and phone systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for occasional errands.
  • Experience with inventory management or shipping/receiving is an asset.
  • Professional demeanor and a customer-focused attitude.
