BDR with Life Sciences background
We are on a mission to accelerate the world's ability to learn, discover, and communicate science — making it open, collaborative, and easily understandable for everyone.
We are currently hiring Business Development Representatives (BDRs) with Life Sciences experience/ or education, to join our remote-friendly team across Canada and select US biotech hubs (Boston, DMV, Raleigh-Durham, Seattle, Philadelphia, Chicago, Houston, Austin, Pittsburgh).
What You’ll Do:
As a BDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers, helping to build and nurture relationships and drive new business opportunities in biotechnology. Here's what you'll be up to:
- Prospect new leads (outbound) and create lasting first impressions with potential customers and partners.
- Qualify inbound leads through phone calls and emails , ensuring alignment with scientific and business needs.
- Organize and prioritize leads in our CRM and measure performance against targets.
- Become an expert in our software and its applications to help clients solve complex science communication challenges.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and field marketing teams to drive outreach, including cold calls, emails, and event participation.
What We’re Looking For:
- 0.5 - 3 years of experience as a BDR in a SaaS Life Sciences environment.
- Proven track record of top sales performance — quick promotions, consistently beating quotas.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (e.g., biology, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, biochemistry or similar)
- Strong understanding of sales KPIs and metrics.
- Exceptional communication skills — confident and clear in phone conversations, emails, and presentations.
- A self-starter attitude and a demonstrated ability to hustle and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Growth mindset — eagerness to learn, improve, and contribute to a collaborative team.

- A continuous improvement approach , being open to coaching, feedback, and adapting in a dynamic environment.
