The Job

We are looking for a motivated individual to fill a short term contract. If you are interested in being part of an organization that is service driven, people oriented and well respected, we would like to hear from you.

Role and responsibilities

• Provide service and support to customers on phone and email
• Coordinate with carriers and other logistics partners to handle import and export shipments
• Produce documentation related to shipments (eAWB, eManifest, MBL, HBL, etc.)
• Proactively follow up on shipments to ensure they are moving according to plan
• Produce invoices

Qualifications and requirements

• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Customer focused approach
• A minimum of 1 year's related experience
• Good knowledge of air and ocean import/export procedures
• Strong communications skills - written and verbal
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely fashion, both independently and in a team environment
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Web)
• Knowledge of INTTRA, CERS portal, E-manifest, eAWBlink is an asset
• Post-secondary education is an asset

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
