About the role
A Little Bud is a non-medical cannabis retail store and we are looking to hire a part-time on-call Budtender with 20 hours a week guaranteed. Our Summerland location operations 7 days a week from 9am-10pm.
A Little Bud is extremely passionate about cannabis! It’s who we are and what we do; we are not another cookie cutter corporate cannabis shop. Potential hires MUST be high-energy and outspoken individuals with lots of personality who are customer service driven!
The position with A Little Bud will start at $18 per hour and include a review after 3 months. It is a super fun environment in an exciting industry. Paid training is provided and continual learning is a big part of the job.
Benefits after 90 days for those working 20+ hours per week.
All hired applicants will be required to complete the Selling It Right online course and provide us with the completion certification before their first shift, as per BC requirements of all non-medical cannabis retail employees. You can find details on how to acquire the certification below. Please note – Selling It Right is not the same as Serving It Right.

Our origins are in Abbotsford, where we previously operated as an award-winning medicinal dispensary from July 2017 until October 2018. Our focus has always been on the needs of our clientele; where everyone who walks through our doors is seen as a person; there is no judgement at A Little Bud. A Little Bud is a true family business with a strong commitment to giving back to the community. The owners have committed to donating 2.5% of all profits to local non-profits.
