Located in a heritage post office at the heart of midtown Toronto, Stock Bar is where Terroni restaurants and Cumbrae’s butchers come together for the first time in menu form. From Cumbrae’s sustainable farms to Terroni's dedication to using only the highest quality ingredients, our philosophy is to provide a unique food and service-oriented dining experience. What we are looking for:
We are looking for full time Hosts for our magnificent 400 seat restaurant which is located in a heritage postal building in midtown Toronto. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with guests and brings a positive and professional work ethic. Well groomed and possessing a great sense of style, you are a team player who enjoys working in a beautiful casual fine dining environment.
Description of Role:
As an important member of our FOH service team you are the first person our guests meet upon entering our restaurant and therefor play an integral role in delivering excellent customer service to our guests. Reporting to the restaurant manager, greeting guests with a cheerful and outgoing personality and offering an outstanding customer service experience for both those guests checking in as well as those calling in over the phone, are the primary responsibilities of the Host. Scheduling is flexible with both day and night shifts during the week day but we do ask all interested candidates to have open weekend availability. Some restaurant experience is preferred but not necessary as we provide on the job training. Working knowledge of OpenTable Guest Centre is a definite asset. Smart Serve Certification required.
