The Vice President, Regional Services Group is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving install base growth and continually elevate the support and customer success for new equipment business across all ATS segments. As a member of the Global Service leadership team, you will engage in strategic collaboration with across all ATS divisions to strengthen ATS’s competitive position in key regional markets. This role is built for a dynamic thinker and doer—someone who blends commercial insight with operational rigor to build a high performing regional services group with clear pathways for growth, profitability, and customer value.

Responsibilities

Commercial Growth and Account Strategy:

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive install base growth across all customer segments.
  • Ensure the full value proposition of ATS is represented in our pursuit of regional Capex and Service sales
  • Leverage customer feedback and asset performance insights to inform future sales and new solutions development.
  • Establish ATS Regional Services as the ATS internal preferred partner of choice across all divisions to provide initial and ongoing lifecycle support to new equipment.
  • ATS Regional Services to provide an overall competitive advantage for all ATS divisions thru our Global reach and Local Strengths.

Operational Profitability and Growth:

  • Lead the expansion and improved profitability of our Regional Centers in North America, Europe and Asia in order to achieve and exceed plan objectives
  • Improve the profitability and operational capability of our ATS regional service centers by establishing solid service and project execution and leveraging value based pricing.
  • Expand organizational capacity to drive increased value across an expanded portfolio of solutions across our installation base.
  • Build scalable processes and teams that can support start up, commissioning and ongoing service requirements.
  • Execute and deliver on service contract commitments with discipline and customer focus.
  • Demonstrate the ability to continuously leverage service technician insights to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery operations.

Technical and Customer Support:

  • Engage with customers through on-site visits to gain an understanding of their needs and expectations, ensuring alignment between service delivery and customer success.
  • Apply future sales insights from leveraging support and service delivery interactions within our install base
  • Develop a strategic capability roadmap outlining the evolution of regional service infrastructure to effectively support the projected growth of the install base
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of executing service delivery commitments in alignment with contractual obligations, ensuring operational, customer excellence and compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).

Team Development & Collaboration:

  • Provide strategic leadership in expanding and developing regional teams into high-performing sales driven service organizations. Champion a culture where service professionals are empowered and equipped to drive customer value and business growth through service interactions.
  • Elevate team capabilities through soft skills training to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Forge strong cross-functional relationships across service and commercial teams
  • Work closely with the VP, Integrated Services, to develop a platform which allows for best-in-class collaboration through field technology.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree specializing in a technical field such as mechanical/ electrical engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, operations and/or service/aftermarket leadership, preferably with a focus on global markets.
  • Strong financial understanding and acumen with a proven ability to drive financial results
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience collaborating with sales and product/service teams to drive business growth.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling service operations across multiple regions or countries.
  • Exceptional ability to influence across functions, levels, and cultures—even in highly technical environments.
  • Track record of leading transformational change and developing high-performing teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Understanding of diverse market needs (e.g., automotive, life sciences, packaging, food & beverage) and how to tailor service strategies accordingly.
  • International experience required; multilingual ability is a plus.
