Qualifications:

  • 3 years sales experience, with a strong preference for automotive

  • 2 years’ experience managing, coaching, and leading teams is a strong asset

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • A passion for customer service and interacting with guests

  • Current MPI Salesperson permit or willing to require within 30 days.

  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.

  • Professional demeanor and appearance while interacting with customers

  • Demonstrates CROWN Auto Group’s CARMA Values: Collaborate, Accountable, Relationship-focused, Motivated, Attitude.

  • Other languages spoken considered an asset

What you’ll do:

  • Hire, train, motivate, coach, and manage all salespeople on the team, focusing on achieving repeat and referral business

  • Ensures that each customer is greeted as quickly as possible and interact with customers at all steps of the sales process

  • Ensure the sales team is providing the best customer experience and are following all processes

  • Perform manager sold and unsold follow-up on all customers and potential buyers. Monitor team’s follows up on all potential buyers

  • Review performance metrics via documented weekly one on one meetings with team members. Daily coaching with all Product Advisors

  • Coordinate and deliver in store training (Product, Closing and Sales Process)

  • Create a positive sales and team culture for the team focusing on employee retention

  • Perform appraisals using company approved software and process

  • Maintains standards for the delivery of cars to customers- ensure that the first after-sales department appointment is arranged at the time of delivery

  • Ensure compliance with Company procedures and policies and conduct disciplinary action as needed.

  • Administer annual performance evaluations for team with thoughtful feedback

  • Lead by example and be an advocate for team

  • Create a positive sales culture for the team focusing on employee retention
