EmpowHERto is seeking a passionate and skilled Stem Lead for our innovative STEM programs. This role involves implementing and managing all aspects of the program, which is designed to introduce young women to the world of data analytics and technology. The Stem Lead will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our participants, providing them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to pursue careers in technology.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement the programming for the STEM program, aligning with program objectives and participant needs.
- Supervise program mentors and volunteers, offering guidance and support.
- Coordinate all program logistics, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and procurement of materials.
- Facilitate engaging and informative program sessions and workshops on data analytics.
- Provide mentorship and support to participants, aiding them in overcoming challenges and achieving their goals.
- Monitor participant progress and outcomes, utilizing data and feedback to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Collaborate with EmpowHERto staff and external partners to enhance program visibility and impact.
- Maintain thorough records and documentation of program activities, participants, and outcomes.
- Represent EmpowHERto at various events and meetings, promoting the organization and its initiatives.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, education, social sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience in youth education or program management, ideally within a leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of data analytics concepts and tools, with the ability to teach and engage diverse audiences.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; adept at building relationships with participants, team members, and community partners.
- A deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a passion for empowering young women from underrepresented backgrounds.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with relevant software applications.

This is a paid role once the program begins and you will move up to 20 hours a week after 3 months paid.

Pay: $0.01 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
