We are currently seeking Building Services personnel to join our team of passionate employees. Reporting to the Sanitation Supervisor, the Sanitation Operator will be responsible for various tasks that support the overall operation of the facility.
After completion of 90 working days seniority is obtained and the pay rate increases to $19.95/hour
Qualifications:
- A positive attitude, team player, willingness to learn.
- Attention to detail, ability to adapt, basic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to rotate through a two-week MAD shift rotation: midnights, afternoons, days.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime if needed.
- Ability to work in various areas and perform a variety of tasks on a repetitive basis and in a structured environment.
- Comfortable working in both hot and cold environments.
- Capability to perform physical duties such as lifting, sweeping, pushing, pulling, etc.
- Ability to learn and understand all food safety procedures relating to job functions.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment would be considered an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform janitorial duties by following a daily roster and performing emergency duties as required.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts and schedules, including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Ability to complete paperwork.
- Strong attention to detail required.
- Must be physically fit to perform the job. Moderate to heaving lifting required.
- Miscellaneous duties as required.
