Bather Roles and Responsiblities:

Responsibilities:

• Bathe and groom pets according to client specifications and breed standards
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring their satisfaction
• Handle and restrain pets safely and securely during bathing and grooming procedures
• Clean and maintain bathing areas, grooming tools, and equipment
• Assist with other tasks as needed, such as nail trims, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a pet bather or in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments with care and compassion
• Strong attention to detail to ensure pets are properly cleaned and groomed
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a friendly and professional manner
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (e.g., large dogs)
• Knowledge of different dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques is a plus

Receptionist:

• be able to speak calmly and professionally to all customers
• be upbeat and super friendly
• answer phone calls, emails, direct messages, etc.
• schedule appointments
• check dogs in and out
• clean & tidy up facility

This job is PHYSICALLY and MENTALLY DEMANDING**.** Working with dogs in an off-leash daycare environment requires employees to pay attention to detail, be quick-thinking and have physical endurance (to walk, lift and clean). This job may not be suitable for all people.

PLEASE NOTE* Punctual and regular work. Reliability is a must when working with live animals. Last-minute shift cancellations are not possible when working with live animals. Applicants must be willing and ready to work on all major holidays.

Busy pet grooming salon & dog daycare looking for mature, energetic and reliable person with a strong work ethic to bathe dogs and help keep the salon running smoothly. Typical day includes bathing/blow drying pets, assisting groomers, brushing dogs, preparing the dog for their hair cut, tending to dogs/cleaning up their messes, cutting bandanas and cleaning work areas. This is a position for a dog & cat bather (PROFESSIONAL BATHER).

Will have separate shifts of just front dest/receptionist duties.
