As a Service Writer at Canadian Tire Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in our automotive service department. Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs effectively.
- Prepare detailed work orders for technicians based on customer requests.
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services while promoting additional services.
- Maintain communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently.
- Ensure a clean and organized service area to enhance customer experience.
- Assist in upselling products and services to maximize sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a dealership or automotive repair environment is a benefit
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist customers effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Sales experience with the ability to upsell products and services is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is an asset.
