CRST’s Home Solutions - NAL division is focused on final-mile home delivery of big and bulky products. Home Solutions works with high-profile retailers to deliver, install, and assemble large items like furniture, exercise equipment, and appliances. This valuable service helps our retail partners meet the needs of the growing home-delivery market.

Job Family: Customer service professionals are responsible for managing inquiries, complaints, and feedback from customer accounts. They provide support through various channels, such as in-person, phone, email, or social media. Effective communication, understanding customer needs, and delivering solutions or information promptly are key to this role. They may also collect and record customer data, maintaining accurate records of interactions. Strong problem-solving skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. The focus is on building positive relationships and providing quality service that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator 3 manages daily operations, working closely with team members, customers, and motor carrier partners to ensure efficient delivery processes. This role also involves mentoring staff, resolving escalated issues, implementing process improvements, and meeting performance goals, all while promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.

Location: On-Site Mississauga, ON

Job Schedule: 9:00am - 5:00pm or 10:00am - 6:00pm Tuesday - Saturday (Sunday/Monday off)

Compensation: $18.00-$20.00 CAD per hour is the starting range (Pay Bi-Weekly) *A final amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location. Typically, selected candidates are hired at a rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Issue Resolution – Resolve escalated customer and motor carrier partner issues
  • Route Planning and Optimization – Plan and optimize delivery routes using a computerized dispatching system to ensure efficient cargo handling
  • Workflow Management – Monitor daily workflow and delegate tasks to team members, ensuring guidelines are followed for smooth operations
  • Obstacle Identification – Collaborate with leadership to identify and address obstacles that may hinder the team’s ability to work effectively
  • Process Improvement – Implement and monitor process improvements, ensuring outputs align with defined goals and standards
  • Customer and Partner Communication – Work closely with customers and motor carrier partners to track cargo and gather any necessary delivery information
  • Order Management – Process order changes, including rescheduling, cancellations, and modifications, and maintain clear communication and follow-up with customers
  • Liaison Support – Serve as the point of contact between customers, clients, and motor carrier partners to ensure seamless communication
  • Work Assignment Completion – Ensure daily tasks are completed, escalating issues as necessary to prevent delays in operations
  • Internal Communication – Provide timely updates to internal departments regarding issues or complaints to facilitate quick resolution
  • Task Completion – Complete all assigned tasks thoroughly and promptly, including timely responses to calls, emails, and inquiries from customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Work Environment Leadership – Create and maintain a positive and professional work environment, leading by example to inspire the team
  • Confidentiality and Professionalism – Maintain confidentiality of company and client information while contributing to a positive and professional work environment
  • Accountability & Reliability – Maintain regular and reliable attendance while performing other duties as assigned to support team and business needs

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior account rep, call center or dispatch experience
  • Demonstrates ability to successfully work in a team or independently
  • Strong leadership ability
  • Confident in handling tough conversations
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Has the ability to work in an environment which at times may become very fast-paced and high-volume
  • Capacity to learn use of excel and other software quickly
