Quality Manager - PrePrint
About the role
- Lead quality assurance activities for the site, ensuring Quality System requirements are documented, implemented and maintained.
- Ensure monthly reports are completed and accurate and that any opportunity for improvement is explored and reported to Plant Management.
- Manage Notice Of Disputes (NOD's), claim investigations and RCCA’s.
- Work closely with sales to respond to customer quality complaints.
- Partner with Operations, Sales and Customer Service to reduce non-conforming product, optimize quality and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct Quality Work Group (QWG) meetings to resolve problems and focus on continuous improvement.
- Maintain and enforce quality standards including good housekeeping protocols, supporting operations in customer and third-party audits.
- Foster strong relationships and communication with internal and external departments and stakeholders.
- Plan, conduct and document all quality related training with established frequency.
- Lead the Pre-print division in pursuing industry related certifications g. IFS PAC Secure, FSC, GFSI and related systems.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline, training or equivalent work experience
- Quality Systems Management or 5+ years of Supervisory experience within the Corrugated packaging sector is highly desired ; experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is a prerequisite
- Strong knowledge, training and experience related to IFS PAC secure, FSC and GFSI standards
- Internal Auditor training and experience is preferred
- Proficient with MS Office applications and Corrugated business systems
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and critical thinking skills are essential
- Ability to organize and prioritize essential tasks to achieve results.
