About the role

Open Door Group (ODG), a trailblazing non-profit organization serving communities across Canada, is looking for a Quality Assurance Agent to join our team!

Salary: $26.09 per hour, Grid 12, Step 2

Status: Casual, Temporary 6 month position

Hours of Work: Up to 36 Hours per week;

Location: This position will be hybrid remote, with a primary work location of a home office and secondary work locations from our Open Door Group offices in Vancouver, Kamloops, Sechelt, based on where the successful candidate lives. Candidates who live outside of these areas may be considered for fully remote work.

Your Role:

The Quality Assurance Agent plays a vital role in ensuring service excellence, contractual compliance, accreditation standards, and data security across Open Door Group. This position is responsible for reviewing client service delivery practices, financial transactions, and documentation to ensure alignment with ODG’s service standards, funder policies, CARF accreditation standards, and privacy obligations.

Working closely with the programs and administrative teams, the Quality Assurance Agent provides detailed insights and supports continuous improvement through systematic reviews, monitoring, and data-driven recommendations.

What you bring to the position:

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a focus on constructive feedback.
  • Collaborative and self-directed with strong team integration skills.
  • Highly organized, with excellent time management and documentation abilities.

Data & Analytical Skills

  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of quality assurance, risk, and compliance methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word); CRM or case management experience is a strong asset.

Organizational & Technical Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resourceful and adaptable with a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary certificate (one-year) in business administration, social services, quality assurance, auditing, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum two years of recent, relevant experience (e.g. quality assurance, compliance monitoring, auditing), preferably in non-profit, social services, or government-funded programs.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
