A Fully Implemented Montessori Campus is looking for a recognized Alberta Certified Teacher who holds a Bachelor of Education or at least Interim Certified to join our diverse, talented, and professional team. You will be responsible for blending the Alberta curriculum with the Montessori expectations. You will ensure the children who attend the kindergarten program exceed the Alberta Education curriculum within the Montessori environment and team teach with the Montessorian to ensure that both program's expectations are met, and that the children are successful.

Kindergarten sessions - The Kindergarten teacher will work in both Casa classrooms- morning classes (8:30am to 11:30am) and afternoon classes (12:45pm to 3:45pm) in Campus III (46, 4307 - 130th Ave SE). You will be part of the team in each classroom.

Experience with Montessori, young children and Kindergarten-aged children is an asset. Must have a Bachelor of Education and hold an Interim or Permanent Alberta Certificate. If you do not have Montessori education you must be willing to obtain it through the different opportunities given through MCHA.

The successful candidate will have a love of learning that they will role model and mentor to their young children. They will display a warm, professional, and happy demeanor and be willing to work and contribute as a team member. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the Alberta Education curriculum and planning skills to meet the goals and outcomes, a Montessori soul, and strong positive leadership.

Job Type: Full-time - The contract is from end of August to June 30th, but it is our intention to find an individual who is looking to stay long term with us.

Salary: $4800.00 per month
