We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries and product selections.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring efficient cash handling.
- Maintain an organized checkout area, keeping it clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally, aiming for quick resolutions.
- Provide information about promotions, products, and services to enhance sales opportunities.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation and positive work environment.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
- Proficient in cash handling and cashiering, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and making change.
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous, aiding in quick transaction processing.
- A proactive attitude towards selling products and services to meet customer needs.
