Experienced Behaviour Interventionist
About the role
Looking for an experienced behavior interventionist for a 12-year-old boy in Richmond (near Garden City Rd and Westminster Hwy). This position involves working 1 on 1 with the student in his home working on a program that is created and managed by a BCBA from Constructive Pathways. We will be working on communication and education programs teaching various skills such as using his TouchChat to communicate, reading, writing, drawing, sequencing, fine motor skills, and independently play.
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Have education and/or experience in ABA or related field (e.g., Psychology, Education, ECE, Linguistics, etc.)
· Available for Monday and Thursday mornings or afternoons.
· Must be at least 19 years old.
· Undergo a criminal record check.
· Agree to a 1-year minimum commitment.
· Must be fluent in English.
· Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Have a reliable form of transportation.
· Have a reliable attendance to all scheduled sessions.
· Have patience, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and take feedback.
· Able to provide at least 2 references.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
