The Opportunity
The City of St. John's Recreation Division is currently seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic Adult Program Instructor, who enjoys working with the public, to facilitate Bridge.
Accountabilities
Adult Program Instructors must be comfortable leading in a group setting to facilitate weekly programs. They're also required to request and maintain the necessary supplies required for the program, and compile and monitor attendance of participants.
The successful applicant will be required to participate in all training programs applicable to this position and other related work. Qualifications
- Recognized experience in Bridge
- Experience facilitating Bridge in a group setting
- Experience working with adult populations
- Excellent communication skills
Additional Requirements
- Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Criminal Record Screening Certificate AND Vulnerable Sector Check – dated within six months prior to start date
Hours of Work
Program Schedule: 1-3 classes per week, assigned based on program demand
Period of Employment September 2025 - June 2026
