Your tasks at a glance
- You warmly welcome patients and direct them to the waiting room, ensuring that new patients complete the questionnaire to add to their files.
- You handle mail, clinic phone lines, and voicemails, and make sure to call patients to confirm their appointments.
- You are responsible for updating the medical records and appointments software after each patient's arrival and departure.
- You manage inventory and ensure the aesthetics and cleanliness of the clinic when needed.
A clear view of your assets
- You have excellent communication skills in English.
- You have experience as a receptionist, medical secretary, or administrative assistant in a doctor's office AND/OR have strong customer service/patient care skills.
- You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
- You stand out for your organizational and collaborative skills as well as your ability to work with minimal supervision.
- You especially thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and when you work as part of a team.
- You have an interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Required: You are comfortable traveling to other clinics in the GTA (expenses covered by Vision Group).
- Schedule: You have flexible work availability Monday through Friday (8:00 am-4:00 pm, with Saturdays on rotation).

LASIK MD is a leading provider of laser vision correction, with over 40 locations in Canada.
LASIK MD was founded in 2001 by Dr. Mark Cohen and Dr. Avi Wallerstein. The first clinics opened in Toronto and Montreal, and by 2006, LASIK MD had opened clinics in Ottawa, Calgary, and Vancouver. Today, from our head office in Montreal, LASIK MD is a national provider of laser vision correction employing over 700 employees. To date, LASIK MD surgeons have collectively performed over 750,000 laser vision correction procedures, and perform more than 75,000 per year in Canada.
