Bilingual Collections Analyst
About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Bilingual Collections Analyst to join our team and support our Senior Manager of Assets and Client Services. If you have a passion for customer service, strong analytical skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment—this could be the role for you! This is an in-person position for candidates located in Calgary, or remote for candidates not in Calgary.
What You'll Do:
Customer Service & Collections
- Connect with clients on overdue accounts weekly and maintain detailed records in LeasePlus software system.
- Manage lease accounts over 60 days past due, initiating payment plans or asset recovery procedures as required.
- Respond promptly to lease inquiries via phone and email.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.
Administrative Support
- Reconcile lease accounts and prepare demand letters and voluntary surrender documents.
- Address and resolve third-party liens.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks and special projects.
Seized/Surrendered Equipment
- Create and manage bailiff packages with thorough lease information.
- Communicate weekly with bailiffs to provide updates and instructions.
- Coordinate with trustees and complete proof of claims for recovered equipment.
Legal Support
- Liaise with legal teams to obtain updates and support ongoing recovery processes.

What You'll Need:
- Bilingual fluency in English and French (verbal and written).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in collections, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, analytical mindset with strong critical thinking skills.
