Samfiru Tumarkin LLP is a busy national litigation firm with offices in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia. Our employment practice in Alberta is looking for a highly motivated and client-oriented associate with 1 - 2 years of experience, preferably in employment law.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a plaintiff civil litigation lawyer and will be looking for an opportunity to learn and grow within a national law firm among a highly respected work culture and team. The successful candidate will have the option to work completely remotely, in office, or in a hybrid working model.

The ideal candidate will have:

• LLB or equivalent;
• good standing with the LSA;
• strong written and verbal communication skills;
• the aptitude to work independently while coordinating with other team members;
• excellent attention to detail; and,
• the competence to prioritize and meet urgent deadlines.
