Job Description:
We are seeking a Sales Engineer with expertise in industrial automation, particularly in ABB 800xA systems and digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge combined with proven sales experience to develop business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop sales opportunities for industrial automation solutions, specifically ABB 800xA systems and the digital solutions portfolio.
- Provide technical consultation to clients, demonstrating the value of ABB products and solutions in improving operational efficiency.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and quotations tailored to client needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the industrial sector.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure client requirements are effectively met.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and ABB product developments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Automation, or related field).
- 3+ years of experience in sales or technical support within the industrial automation sector.
- Hands-on experience and expertise with ABB 800xA systems and ABB’s digital solutions portfolio.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel to client sites when required.
Knowledge in other PLC SCADA Platforms shall be added advantage: SIEMENS (SIMATIC, WINCC, PCS7), SCHNEIDER (Modicon , SCADAPACK , CITECT , WONDERWARE ) , ROCKWELL ( ControlLogix, Compact Logix , Factory Talk ) , Cyber Security IEC-62443 Basic Fundamentals
