WHO YOU ARE:

As a dynamic and innovative creative force, you thrive in a collaborative atmosphere. You are adept at managing a multitude of design projects, versioning tasks, and marketing initiatives that align with our integrated calendars. Your role is pivotal in shaping consumer marketing campaigns that resonate deeply with Movie Lovers, ensuring each initiative is on-brand and impactful. Working closely with the Director and Manager of Creative Services & Marketing, as well as cross-functional teams and external partners, you bring campaigns to life with meticulous attention to detail and strategic insight. Your passion for creativity drives you to produce engaging and memorable content, ensuring every campaign not only meets but exceeds expectations. You are the imaginative force behind the scenes, making sure every marketing effort supports and elevates our brand, from initial concept to final execution... and you LOVE movies!

THE JOB:

This is a 14-month contract position based out of the Toronto Cinemas Support Centre, with an estimated start date of mid-September. The position is hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days in office per week.

Content Creation and Support

  • Assists in the development and execution of marketing sales concepts across all platforms – broadcast, digital, social, OOH, print – in support of Landmark’s Integrated Calendars across Studio Relations, Advertising, Advance Tickets sales, Promotional Campaigns, Alternative Content and more
  • Assist in the trafficking and execution of all paid or owned campaigns across all platforms – broadcast, digital, social, OOH, print, in-theatre – in support of the 52-week Box Office Sales and Concession Calendar, Studio Relations, Alternative Content, and Advance Tickets Campaigns
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining film and trailer databases on our site using a CMS
  • Assist with the development, execution, and evaluation of all marketing initiatives and projects, fostering seamless collaboration across the marketing department.
  • Nurture strong partnerships with internal departments and project leaders to ensure that briefs, messages, and content align perfectly with our strategic vision and brand identity.
  • Drive the execution of programs and promotions alongside our studio partners, leveraging your expertise to deliver exceptional results.

Videography & Editing

  • Working closely with the Creative Services team on marketing campaigns, social media, and other videos/ motion graphics. Support with the development of video content, which may include product feature promotions, branding, trailer builds.
  • Manage and organize project files and assets to ensure efficient workflow and easy access to resources.
  • Brainstorm ideas according to the marketing strategies to and come up with creative concepts that are relevant and effective.
  • Take part in pre-production planning and execution including, but not limited to, pre-setup, filming, organizing talent, storyboarding, location scouting and scripting.
  • Responsible for post-production tasks including reviewing footage, rough cuts, audio adjustment, colour correction, and final editing using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Support with the creation of visually engaging animations and graphics for various multimedia projects, incorporating motion design principles to enhance storytelling and communication.
  • Participates in the development, execution, and evaluation of all marketing initiatives by collaborating with the Marketing team to understand project objectives and translate them into visually engaging stories.
  • Incorporate feedback from clients and team members to refine edits and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve editing skills and techniques.

Requirements

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in a Marketing, Design, or Creative position.
  • Bachelor's degree in digital media, marketing, or communications related field is an asset.
  • Strong skills and experience using a Mac and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects) on Mac.
  • Strong skills in video editing, production, conversion, and exports.
  • Understanding and ability using HTML and working in a CMS is a strong asset.
  • Experience using project management tools such as ClickUp and PageProof.
  • Engaged in finding solutions and efficiencies.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, listening and written communication skills combined with the ability to speak with confidence using professionalism, tact, courtesy and diplomacy.
  • Open to a fast-paced, results-orientated work environment.
  • Comfort and skill using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
