Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Part-Time Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our well-established construction office in Pickering. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and time management skills, as well as have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and contributing to a streamlined accounting process.
Responsibilities (but not limited to)

Manage payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable using QuickBooks Desktop Pro

Enter and pay bills, credit card statements, and process invoices

Prepare and submit government remittances, including HST returns, Payroll Deductions, and WSIB premiums

Reconcile bank accounts, process T4s and ROEs, and perform day-to-day office duties
Important Notes:

This is NOT a remote position. Candidates must be able to work in-person at our Pickering office.

A suitable schedule will be arranged in consultation with the successful candidate. Upon completion of training, the position will typically require 7 to 14 hours per week, scheduled over 1 to 2 days.
