Unionville Property Care is currently looking for 6 full time seasonal landscape maintenance workers!

Hiring both post- secondary students and non- students.

Previous professional landscape maintenance experience is an asset, preference will be given to those who do, rate of pay dependent on previous experience.

(There is also opportunity to work part time and on call during the fall & winter seasons doing snow removal & salting, Christmas lights, and forest management.)

Landscape Maintenance Worker Responsibilities:

• Cutting grass with riding lawn mower, push lawn mower, and weed wacker

• Cultivating and edging garden beds

• Removing weeds from garden beds and flower pots

• Trimming and sniping various plants with hedge trimmers, snips, and loppers, etc

• Using a backpack blower to clean away debris from driveways, walkways, patios, decks, etc.

• Planting perennials and annuals

• Fertilizing lawns and garden beds

• Loading and unloading debris

• Clean out interior of truck daily and wash exterior weekly

• Follow property schedule for your crew & track time spent at each property in daily log book

• Follow health and safety policies wearing PPE, filling out vehicle trip sheets, etc.

• Ability to do physically demanding work, outdoors, with a positive attitude is required.

• Ability to drive a truck and tailor is an asset, two drivers with clean abstracts needed, one for each maintenance crew.

• Must have your own reliable transportation to and from work everyday

• Work Monday- Friday, 6:30am to 3pm- 6pm weekends off !!!!!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Experience:

• Landscaping: 2 years (preferred)
