Data Engineer
Job Description
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and architectures. You will work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure that data is accessible and usable for analysis and reporting.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines to support data ingestion and processing.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and testing.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
