Seeking Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Dental Assisting Program (Ontario)
One-Time Remote Task
We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with hands-on Dental Assisting experience to conduct a program review for an existing Dental Assisting program offered by our career college in Ontario .
Purpose of the Role:
As part of our ministry compliance process, the SME will review the curriculum and provide feedback via the Ministry of Colleges and Universities’ online PARIS system. The task will take a few hours and must be completed online.
Requirements (as per Ministry guidelines):
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant , gained within the last 10 years
- Direct experience in dental assisting (not in related roles such as Dental Administrator, Dental Hygienist, Office Manager, Dentist, or Intern)
- Relevant professional credentials
- In good standing with the applicable regulatory body or professional association
- Must confirm no conflict of interest :
- With the program being assessed
- With our institution
Task Summary:
- Log in to the PARIS system (access provided) and answering Ministry’s questions regarding the curriculum provided.
- One-time task
- Flat rate: $500
