The Business Consultant is responsible for the research, analysis, definition and documentation of requirements for client projects in the social, health and human services domain. The primary responsibility of the Business Consultant is to perform GAP analysis of client requirements and the chosen COTS solution functionality. 3+ years of direct business analyst experience with the Cúram™ by Merative COTS product, which caters to the social, health and human services agencies globally, is required. A Business Consultant will act as domain consultant on Diona’s client implementation project engagements around the globe.
Responsibilities:
Research, analyze, define and refine business requirements for a specific area of the client project utilizing the of the COTS product, Cúram™ by Merative
Assist the project Manager in project estimation and planning
Contribute to Fit-gap analysis and running requirement workshops
Produce requirement process artifacts
Assist client business team in validating implementation against requirements
Liaise with team members and COTS vendors (as applicable) to ensure quality project deliverables
Apply problem solving techniques and product capability knowledge to ensure best results for the client engagement
Prepare and deliver domain best practice/product capability presentations
Present a professional and knowledgeable image of Díona to customer
Work within the project team to ensure that the project technical standards are properly applie
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Mandatory Experience:
- 1 -2 + years of experience in Software Development utilizing the Cúram™ by Merative COTS product (prior IBM Cúram SPM). Applicants without Curam experience cannot be considered.
- Experience with Cúram Rules is mandatory
- 2 + years of experience working with Java, JEE and associated technologies
- Knowledge of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and the SDLC
Nice to have Skills and Attributes (in priority order
Experience in the social, health and human services domain
Experience in defining business requirement for implementing large enterprise-wide software applications in a Web environment
Practical knowledge of software development lifecycles
Experience of screen design and prototyping
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work either alone or as part of a team dedicated to delivering quality results
Proven ability around written communication and presentation delivery
Self-motivated with attention to detail
Educational qualification:
- Computer Science degree or equivalent from recognized institutes
Location(s) – United States or Canada
This is a remote work role. Salary is commensurate with experience.
