At Sinai Health, we care, create possibilities and offer hope. We are looking for a Food Services Assistant to support our Food Services department**.**

Hours:
Week 1 – Saturday 4:30pm-7:45pm
Week 2 – Sunday 4:30pm-7:45pm

Job Outline:

The employee is required to perform a variety of tasks in connection with the auxiliary duties in the operation of the Food Services Department. In addition, the employee will be required to undertake any special assignments, which may be requested by the Nutrition Services management.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Grade 10 education or equivalent
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and be willing to accept direction from more than one Supervisor
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Previous Food Services experience in a healthcare environment preferred
  • Food Service Worker Certificate preferred
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt easily to change
  • Demonstrated satisfactory job performance and attendance history required
