THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support our growing team. This role will be responsible for assisting with HR operations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and compliance. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in coordinating the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling
- Facilitate onboarding for new hires, including orientation sessions and documentation
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries and provide guidance on policies and procedures
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including corporate offsites, team-building activities, and professional development efforts
- HR Administration & Compliance
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies and procedures
- Assist in preparing HR reports and documentation related to performance management and benefits administration
- Training & Development
- Support the coordination of training sessions, workshops, and professional development programs
- Assist in tracking employee progress and maintaining training records
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR support role, preferably in a professional services or consulting environment
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment standards, and workplace policies in Ontario
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with HRIS platforms is an asset
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
