Job Opportunity: EVENT SERVER
Sandman Signature Hotel – Sherwood Park
We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic Event Server to join the Events Department at Sandman Signature Sherwood Park. If you’re passionate about hospitality, interested in event planning, and excited to create memorable guest experiences through attentive service and teamwork—this role is for you!
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
- Hourly wage of $15.00
- Preferred shifts and flexible hours
- 40% discount on meals while working
- 25% discount at our restaurants: Moxie’s, Chop, Shark Club, and Rockford

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Outgoing, positive, and upbeat personality
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and engaging demeanor
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to maintain momentum
- Calm, organized, and reliable—even under pressure
- Team player who can also work independently
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic with flexible availability
- Weekend availability is required
- High self-confidence and motivation
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 18 years of age at the time of application
- Valid ProServe certification
- Professional appearance and presentation
- Physically able to walk, stand, bend, and lift throughout shifts
- Solid communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail, planning, and organization
- Comfort with basic Audio-Visual technology
COMPENSATION:
- Hourly wage
- Share in banquet gratuities
