Guest Services Attendants
(Part-time)
The Guest Services Attendants are responsible for welcoming all customers into our facility and creating an inviting and friendly atmosphere for visitors. They handle cash work with admissions, memberships, program registration, product sales, and rental revenues. If you enjoy working with people and providing a great service experience for our visitors, we are looking for you! We require evenings and weekend availability as well as holidays for reliable and service-oriented individuals.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer care experience
- Experience handling cash flow duties
- Word, Excel and Recreation Software System experience with the ability to switch between different programs quickly
- Flexible schedule to work evenings and weekends depending on shift requirements
- A strong sense of urgency when assisting guests
- Able to multi-task and work independently
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C Certification.
- Trico Centre will initiate a comprehensive criminal background check for all new hires. A previous check will be accepted provided it is dated within the past 6 months Mandatory at time of hire if 18 years of age or older
- Ability to make decisions when required
- Detail oriented, with a high level of accuracy
- Able to handle customer queries and complaints in a professional manner
- Must be punctual, reliable, and dependable with a flexible schedule
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly, enthusiastic
- Hardworking, professional and a team player
- High School Diploma
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and offer tours to all inquiring guests
- Process program registrations, membership sales and admissions
- Update and maintain necessary training required of the position
- Attend required staff meetings and training sessions.
- Answer telephone enquiries in a positive and friendly manner and follow up with phone calls when required
- Keeps informed by reading and inputting information into the communication binder
- Complete daily functions within the Guest Services Department
- Maintain a clean and organized work station

Trico Centre for Family Wellness is a community-owned, not-for-profit facility that works in partnership with over 30 south Calgary communities. Our multi-sport facility includes a fitness centre, two NHL-sized rinks, an aquatics centre, a gymnasium, on-site child care, and ten multi-purpose rooms.
Our facility is also the home of several health and wellness-related businesses. By offering services that enrich physical, emotional, and intellectual wellness, these tenants add significant value to the community and family-wellness mission of Trico Centre.
