Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and client-focused Commercial Fleet Services Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for building relationships and delivering tailored solutions for commercial vehicle fleets. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing our fleet service business by nurturing existing accounts and proactively securing new clients across local and regional markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management & Retention:
Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial fleet clients. Ensure ongoing satisfaction by delivering proactive communication, timely service support, and customized maintenance strategies.
- New Business Acquisition:
Identify, target, and acquire new commercial fleet customers through proactive cold outreach, referrals, networking, and participation in local business events.
- Consultative Sales Approach:
Understand client operations, vehicle usage patterns, and maintenance needs to develop personalized service solutions that maximize uptime and minimize costs.
- Service Agreement Development:
Present proposals, negotiate service contracts, and align offerings with both customer expectations and business goals.
- Onboarding Coordination:
Partner with service advisors and internal operations to ensure seamless onboarding and integration of new fleet clients into our service processes.
- Pipeline & CRM Management:
Maintain an active sales pipeline, regularly update CRM systems with client activity, and provide accurate forecasts and performance reports.
- Market Insights:
Stay current on industry trends, regional fleet challenges, and competitor offerings to inform outreach strategies and service enhancements.
- Event Representation:
Represent the company at fleet expos, trade shows, and networking events to build brand presence and generate qualified leads.
- Performance Goals:
Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for fleet acquisition, revenue growth, and client retention.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivelant, with a College dreww being preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, fleet services, commercial vehicle operations, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills with a focus on long-term relationship building.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Proficient with CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of vehicle maintenance, service intervals, or fleet lifecycle management is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Proficiency with the English language to ensure seamless communication with Fleet Account decision-makers in both verbal and written communication scenarios.
- Ability to stand, sit, drive, walk, listen to and communicate with customers to complete all of the above mention job duties as assigned.
