They are seeking a Financial Reporting Manager who will be responsible for providing beneficial support to the financial reporting but will also play a significant role in business operations and internal control improvements. About the Opportunity
- Oversee the planning and coordination of preparing financial statements and the audit of US & Canadian entities with Senior Accountants.
- Review statutory working papers, financial statements and note disclosures, memos and process documentation prepared by the team. Manage WIP processes and external audit relationships.
- Lead a small team of accountants, fostering development and performance.
- Ensure effective control frameworks are built into the processes and risks are identified and addressed as advised through the Group Director of Finance Operations, Procurement and Control.
- Drive the documentation of process flows end to end for your areas of responsibility.
- Drive continuous improvement with the Head of Financial Reporting to identify opportunities where processes for your area can be enhanced for efficiency, automation and improved control.
- Effective and timely communication across the Finance teams and your region, communicating at all levels of seniority and with external service providers, e.g. external auditors.
- Stakeholder Management and strong customer service principles are important to the role as is the ability to build strong relationships both centrally and across regions.
- Identifying development needs within the team and setting training plans to further develop individuals within the team,
About You
- CPA designation
- Strong proficiency in IFRS Financial Reporting & Consolidations including Financial Statement preparation
- Currently at the Manager level or above
Salary Range
$120,000 - $135,000/year
